Haines City (Anybody?)

They do hire sworn only but you can apply while in the Academy. They hired a few people out of my Academy class. They have an extremely quick process as compared to other departments in the area.

With a recent post mention in this forum and this week while on a rode trip I passed through the Town, (City). Seemed O.K., growing a mix of old and new central FLA. I stopped in the Station no recruiter was available and applications were given out only at City Hall or online. The civilian behind the glass advised they were hiring but only Fla Cert. Officers. The posted job online does not mention Certification. I'm calling Tomorrow (Fri.) but if anyone could give me some insight on this dept. it would be appreciated.
