Ours was 8 hours a day crammed into like 13 days (twelve 8 hour days and one 4 hour OC day). We went in during the weekend during DT. DT (minus OC) was my favorite part of the academy, but get some good ibuprofen.

I haven't gone through the Academy yet, but I really hope they stress the fact that you lose like 90% of your motor skills when fighting. :P

I just graduated in Feb. Yes, there is a practical exam at the end and for us it was really simple. The instructor will tell you the move they want and so long as you have some clue, they'll pass you. In the middle of the move if your doing it wrong they will help you through it to some degree. Also with our class we were all in the same room and those that were unsure of themselves just waited till towards the end so that they could watch how the test went and how the others did the moves. You'll be fine don't sweat it.

    DT in academy

This question is for those of you guys that have gone through a Florida CMS academy lately. When you guys went through DT, did you have a practical exam at the end, where you had to demonstrate moves, etc? If so, how was it laid out. We have one coming up and we get conflicting accounts of how its done and I am a lil worried due to some of the moves being a lil difficult.
