Will I get delayed???

Hello, am towards the last parts of my application process to become a PO....I was wondering if i get stopped for a speeding ticket or anything else if that will delay me from going to the academy on time? (May) thanks in advance.

It should not depaly you from going to the academy. It will dpend on your agency policy what they will do if you get a ticket between now and starting the academy. If you do get a ticket, I would let your agency know right a way just in case they have not completed their background on you.

i was told if its the lowest speeding ticket (for like 1 - 9 over the limit) your fine, but if its something major like careless, reckless, DUI, youcould get jammed up bad. They told us when your going through the process of being hired you should definetly be on the best behavior of your life, which is understandable.
