Any officers from either agency? I am looking specifically at those two agency for when I am out of the Navy.
I have talked to a couple officers from both but I have a couple more questions:
1. How are off duty details? I know both agencies are able to take them, but are they available like they are with the PDs and SOs?
2. Can vehicles be used for off-duty use like many local agencies do? Things such as going to the gym, dry cleaners, etc?
3. If FWC planning on getting mobile computers with DAVID? It seems like DAVID is almost a neccesity anymore, it seems odd that an agency wouldn't have it. Is it a money issue?
4. Is DEP mainly limited to State Parks or can they conduct enforcement activities in other places? Can they enforce fish laws at places like Fort Desoto and in Tampa Bay and the Gulf, or really just in the parks?
I think that is it for now. Thanks.
