Nope. The communications doesn't matter, as even in the state some of the codes and signals are different. For the EOT course however, you must show training in those areas for the EOT process.

Thanks for the response. From the FDLE Florida CMS Law Enforcement Comparable Training areas, I didn't receive training in patrol, traffic stops, or traffic investigations. In terms of communications, we were obviously not taught the Florida 10-codes and signals. That being the case, would I still qualify? Thanks.

The Equivalency of Training (EOT) process/FAM
As a Federal Air Marshal (FAM), I'm curious if anyone knows if I would qualify for the EOT process? I would assume I don't considering I never had high liability classes such as patrol or traffic investigations. Can anyone provide a hard and fast answer to this? Thanks.Tags: None
