When did Oakland get a tac team? I did not think they were large enough and generally relied on OCSO.

They dont have one... They do call on County for most everything.....


I think that may have been a small attempt at a "Unit" but the do not have a standing one.. Maybe someone just wanted a cool patch....

That's weird, aren't they mostly reserves? I love Oakland, would live there in a second.

Thats what I thought all reserves and they only hire from the reserves.

Thats what I thought, all though I do remember a few years ago there was talk of a West Orange tac team made up of Winter Garden, Oakland, Ocoee and OCSO. Also I think there was talk of some Lake county guys on board as a regional team.

Plenty of people out there who create fake badges and patches to sell. Not very high quality, as usually the good companies will require a certain minimum order, so they go through companies that will accept an order for a single (or low) amount of patches.

I Know theres a few teams up in Lake county.. even Mt Dora has one... Oakland doesnt have a Tac unit... I asked today.......
