  • Can I carry a fixed blade in CT?

Hello, I was just wondering if I can carry a fixed blade knife in CT. I know the cutting surface of the knife has to be under four inches, however I'm not sure if this applies to ALL knives or just folders. As a knife collecter/enthusiest I would like to know. Also once I get out of the service I'm going to become a police officer here in Meriden =D

You could carry ANY knife with a blade smaller than 4 inches, except a switchblade. Also, if you have a valid hunting/fishing license you could carry a knife that exceeds 4 inches while actively hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, trapping, etc. You could look up the statute at ct.gov.
