Santa Barbara Airport police department background

Does anyone know how strict the background process is for the Santa Barbara Airport Police Department. I recently applied and waiting for there PAT. Just wondering how selective or picky they are, since I have a dui from 15 years ago.

Most Depts nationwide are short staffed, plus 15 yrs is a good while ago. If you’ve been clean since then I’d hope you’ve got a pretty good chance.

Apparently he's applied to a lot of agencies.

I suspect that as desperate as agencies are to hire new officers these days, that if he were capable of being hired, he would have been hired by now...

Louisiana too, Depts are required to provide detailed info on the circumstances under which employed officers are leaving.
