You will see a standard panel interview. There will be one person from Human Resources and two or three officers sitting on the board. Depending on the amount of applicants that passed the written there may be several different boards going at once to process everybody. There will be a set of questions determined by human resources which change with each hiring cycle. I have sat on several of the hiring boards, but I will not give out the exact questions we have previously used. They will tend to be along the lines of how you have handled a certain situation, what qualities you have that you think would help you be a police officer, what have you done to prepare, etc. If you have any particular questions regarding CVPD check out the website www.chulavistapd.org or you can pm me.
