Not trying to argue just want to know what is being offered around me.

Also Long Beach will be taking apps as of 8-25-2006 for anyone still looking. They usually hire about 80 per class.

You are corrected HB..LASD is also [email protected]

Unfortunately, it is more like [email protected] Certain depts., such as LASD and LAPD will never get [email protected] Depts. are even getting rid of it. Too expensive. LASD does however have one of the best medical plans offered. LASD also gets 100% medical lifetime for themselves and spouse after 25yrs. There's only a couple of depts. in the state that offer that.
