Four bodies were found Tuesday at a home in the Bay Terraces area of San Diego. Three were found in a backyard pool officials said.
The bodies were discovered at 162 Parkcreek Court north of Paradise Valley Road and east of Meadowbrook Drive. The call came in to police at 6:40 a.m.
One person was dead when police arrived. Emergency crews performed CPR on the other two bodies according to police.
Video from a television helicopter shows three bodies covered with tarps laying on the patio of the home. The concrete around each body is wet.
Emergency crews reported finding a woman inside the home in a bathtub and a man, woman and a girl in the pool San Diego Fire-Rescue spokesperson Maurice Luque. All four people appeared to have drowned Luque said.
A friend of the residents learned of the deaths while watching the news Tuesday morning. When Alex Jasmund arrived at the scene, the high school senior was visibly upset.
He said he was at the home Saturday night for a pre-prom party with a classmate who lived at the home.
