  • Riverside Sheriff Agility Test

Hey guys, I just registered for the agility test on December 15 at Ben Clark. I know the new format is push-ups, sit-ups, and 1.5 mile run. I was wondering if anyone knew how the test was completed? Run first, last, etc. For the sit-ups, does someone sit on your feet, or how does that work?

    Thanks!

Run LAST, the rest is done with partners, ie hold your feet and then count your push ups. Are they not doing the agility test the wall climb, and so on?
I'd rather be judged by 12 rather carried by 6.

It should be noted that any and all post that are made are based on my own thought and opinions. And are not related or implied to represent the department I work for.

I took it a few months back....It was push-ups first, then sit-ups followed by the 1.5 mile run. The push-ups and sit-ups took place on the concrete "grinder" in formation using a partner to count and for a fist under your chest for push-ups and holding or kneeling on your feet for sit-ups. The run was on a dirt track.

Thanks for the feedback. Is the run in a lap format, or a long dirt track? Flat or hilly?

        Thanks again!

And no, they're not doing the wall climb, obstacle course, dummy drag anymore.

It was sort of a lap format but not a regular oval track. It's flat the whole way.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not really a runner, so just trying to be as mentally prepared as I can.

Is the oral board/interview after the agility test?

They don't have an oral board...the next step is sending in the Background packet.

Do you get results right there or do you have to wait to get information about backgrounds?

                  Thanks!

When you pass the PAT you will be given a packet right then to take home and fill out and return to them. They will then schedule you for a Background interview.
