I don't know what you're trying to access but Rioweb is working for me. Then again I'm just checking up on grades, not registration. In any case, you don't necessarily need to take World of CJ prior to the start of your academy training but you must complete it before graduation. btw...sponsored recruits don't need this class.

We're sponsoring two recruits for Class #8. Spoke to the senior tac and he said seats are filling up fast!

Well it's better to get the class out of the way but there were guys and gals who took that class during the academy. So to answer your question, no it's not a must.

According to tac, as the numbers go higher, priority will only be given to those who are sponsored.

I guess this economy scared away some self-sponsored recruits. Either that or they're keeping mum about going.

It's a stretch for me as well, but I am confident that I am more marketable as a Level I Reserve until things get better.

I had the plan to sponsor myself at night... but I may get sponsored soon as a Reserve...

San bernardino sheriff has a level 1 academy starting in janurary.

^ Holy smokes...according to SB Valley College, the Level I academy is a 27 week course, from 1/5/10 to 7/10/10. They meet: TWTh - 1800 to 2050 hrs and Sat - 0800 to 1650 hrs.

Thats a basic academy which allows you to work as a level 1 or full-time officer. It's no different than any other full-time or extended academy. It's pointless to put yourself through mod's 2 and 3 only to start all over again.
