I'm making a last minute trip to San Diego this weekend, any of you guys have any suggestions on places to visit or avoid? Any help is appriecated.

Well it depends on your interests. Balboa park is awesome, the gaslamp, beaches, the zoo, wildlife park, just go on city search and they have hundreds of suggestions.

Google Wave House San Diego. It's a sweet place to hang out, drink, and ride an artificial surfing wave. All just steps away from the beach. My little bro is a lifeguard on the big wave. Something to definitely go and watch, and its free to go in and watch people ride if you want to just do that.

Check out the beaches and take a drive along the coast. La Jolla area is nice (if you have a map/GPS) to drive around. Old Town is a nice little Mexican themed place and Coronado is a nice resort type island. There is tons of stuff to do around here.

When you go to the wave house, make sure you take a long slow walk along the beach to Pacific beach. Wear dark shades and enjoy the view.

If you like great burgers, and the old-fashioned funky beach scene go to Ocean Beach and eat at Hodads...the line is worth the wait.

For a great view. Go to Mt. Soledad or Pt. Loma light house.

Stop by Original Pancake House off of Convoy street for a great breakfast.
