I'm doing an internship with the Crimes Against Children's division this semester for school, and I was wondering if anybody has worked with that division before, even though it isn't a "law enforcement" division. Not real sure what to expect with the whole thing. Thanks

From what I understand they (the division) are treated like step-kids inside the ASP. The concept is really good, a state agency, led by the state police, with a division dedicated to those types of investigations.
Its make no sense what so ever that would hire people to go to some ones house to investigte sex crimes against children and not certify them in some way (maybe something like state parole/probation) to carry firearms. Arkansas is a pretty liberal state and liberals hate law enforcement. Those investigators should be certified.
