Is it illegal to carry a weapon with a round in the chamber in Arizona? I heard a rumor today that it was with the new CCW laws.

KGB, you've got that wrong,
Open carry in california the weapon has to be completely empty, no magazine, now rounds in the gun at all. CCW is a different issue, it does allow for weapon to have a round chambered and loaded magazine in. The problem is the difficulty in obtaining a CCW in California. You can pay sever hundreds of dollars with a CCW class and CCW permit fees and still be denied a CCW permit for no reason at all. The CCW Permit fees are non-refundable, so if you apply and are denied you just lost out on at least $150 to $200 and that doesn't include the CCW class. Issuance of a CCW is dependent on either the Country Sheriff or Chief of Police for a city. Some Sheriff or Chief of police are more lenient, but most are difficult about issuance.GOD IS A NINJA WITH A SNIPER RIFLE, WAITING TO TAKE YOU OUT.
