  • Arizona Firearm Laws

How far does someone need to push you for defensive display to be lawful under these Arizona laws? What are some examples of in the right and in the wrong that may land you with assault charges?

I understand this to be a Arizona specific law/question. Thank you for any information.

It should come down to reasonableness of the action.
Well first, life dealt you a bad hand, then you decided to double down.

Don't flaunt it unless you plan to use it.

That's the mentality I have always used while carrying a firearm. I was just wondering if this "new" law changed anything. Sounds like you still have to fear for your life or major bodily threats ect.

It does, but previously you were not allowed to "display it" i.e. open a jacket to reveal a weapon if you felt threatened. That's what the new statute allows.

I would love to serve on a jury.
