  • "Duty To Warn" in AZ

I had a "Duty to Warn' filed with the Phoenix PD.

I have since applied to the dept.

Will this show up on the BI?

I tried to do a records check for it and the city records/code enforcement/crime stopper and they could not find it...

Yes, before you ask I did include it on the app. Just wanted to prep for the question on it.

Also, it filed was against me for something I said... But there was no call for service and no report filed in the incident.

    Thanks!

Most of us have no idea what that is. I had to google it and I found your other thread on **********. Same deal here.

If it's a form sent by a mental health worker to the dept. based on something you said in a private session, then the duty to warn is not going to be the issue. We can't do anything about crimes that 'might' happen.

The underlying mental health treatment that caused the therapist concern will be the issue, and that will no doubt be discussed when your records are released and reviewed.

Depends on the reason. If you went totally off the reservation for a while, it could be a problem.
