I just got off the phone again with the UAPD Police. They re-opened the police recruit positions. The last position a few months ago was cancelled; but that was reversed. Applications must be in by November 22nd. The proposed test date is for December 12th. Also, the December 12th testing is for an April 2010 academy. They are not sure how many officers they are hiring just of yet; however, they will know closer to testing date. So, just a heads up. I'll keep everyone posted with other Southern AZ departments.
