Was a great morning. Id say a good 60 or 70 were there. We did the physical 1st...if anyone was there i lead home the 2nd group so u know who yournicked! is.
. ..they worked out the scores and sent those who didn't pass home.. ..we then went onto do the vocabulary,comprehension and spelling test.. .which sent a further two home. We then scheduled or own orals within allocated time slots. About 25 of us left.. . .but we gotta send in apps and azpost b4 our orals.. . Which may dq a further few more. So chances right now are good as there are only 25 left for 6ish positions.Marana have funds.. . .so heads up...if they hire again apply. Chances are good.

Heys guys been lurking here for a a while thought I might finally post. Well if recall correctly they said they had fours spots to fill, and if I counted right there were 27 oral board time slots. So that means I just have to beat out at least 23 other applicants. But hopefully I can beat out 26 I feel like my chances are really good, we'll know though soon enough. The wait shouldn't be to long, the website says they should have the job offers out by Dec 11., which seems pretty quick.

Anyone know their policy on take home rides? I've heard you have to live within 35 miles of the station?....is it the substation on Ina or the main station in the sticks of Marana?

I live in the backwoods on Marana, even beyond the sticks of the new municipality; and trust me, you do not want to be driving from the east side of town to Marana every day. Stay on the NW side of town. Easy commute. Most officers go 10-8 from home. However, you should call 520-382-2000, talk to the recruiter.
