Can someone please recommend hotel near Anchorage police department?

Springhill Suites University Lakes is nice and close to APD. The Dimond Center Hotel is nicer and usually cheaper, but not as close. There are several car rental agencies at the airport, use the cheapest one.

Do you know if you will be testing at the training center or at APD Headquarters? They are on opposite sides of town. Honestly, spend the extra bucks and stay downtown at Capt Cook or the Hilton. Rental cars are a dime a dozen at the airport. Get something cheap and small and spend an extra day up here to explore the surrounding areas. Good luck in the process
