The Helena Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer to fill current and future vacancies. Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 13th at 5:00p.m.
All applicants are required to have a valid and current certification through the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission, or an equivalent certification from another state, and at least 2 years of experience as a sworn Law Enforcement Officer. Officers must provide their cumulative final score from the Police Academy the applicant attended. Applicants will be placed on an eligibility register based off their final academy score.
