  • Australia - ISR Matrix Defensive Tactics Sept 2008

    Hi all,

I'm hosting ISR Matrix for Physical Management and Law Enforcement Instructors courses in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth later this year.

This is a non-profit venture, aimed purely at injecting some modern skills and training methodology into our somewhat tired defensive tactics training.

    Details as follows:

Perth, 20-22 Sept, Sat-Mon. $550. Contact [email protected]
Sydney 26-28 Sept, Fri-Sun $600 includes meals and accom. [email protected]
Brisbane 29 Sept-01 Oct $450 Contact [email protected]

    Brisbane LE/MIL Sept 29-03 Oct $1099

For LE/MIL and all other enquiries please contact [email protected]

ISR Matrix (intercept, stabilie, resolve) was created by the Vice President of Straight Blast Gym, BJJ Blackbelt and former Grappling coach of the year Luis Guiterrez in conjunction with numerous MMA trained police, corrections officers and bouncers.

It is designed to work against a resisting TRAINED offender.

Don't delay, book today - limited places remaining and they are going fast.

    Cheers,

    Dave

Still a few positions remaining. Best to book ASAP as there has been a lot of interest in remaining positions.

Courses are on the drawing board for six locations across Australia in March/April, with ADL being one of them.

Guys, become a fan of the OzCombatives page on facebook to remain updated of events.

Testimonials from the previous courses can also be found on that page or at my website.

        All the best,

        Davo

          Hi Davo

          Just a query -

          1. "This is a non-profit venture"

Yet the courses cost from $450 to $1099 ?

          2. What's a "Police Civilian" as listed in your public profile?

          3. Have you ever worked operational duties as a sworn police officer (now or in the past)?

          Thanks.

Homer: When I first heard that Marge was joining the police academy, I thought it would be fun and zany, like that movie Spaceballs. But instead it was dark and disturbing... Like that movie -- Police Academy.

            Thanks for your interest.

Yes it's non profit. It costs a lot of money to fly top notch instructors half way across the world, accommodate them and feed them. Commercially run courses cost a lot more - have you looked into what it costs to attend say a OHS reps course, a computer course or an office writing course? Much more than $150-200 a day! My profile has been ammended to reflect Use of Force Trainer, which is my secondary role within my Police agency.

If you've got any further concerns please PM or email me as I don't often check forums.
