    PSNI - Chief Constable Vacancy

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) was previously known as the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) and how times have changed in that a Garda Officer would even consider applying for the Chief Constable position.

A sign of the times and good to see but a lot of the problems of Northern Ireland haven't gone away and so the successful applicant for this position would have more to deal with that say a Chief Constable or Police Commissioner of another UK or Irish Police Force.

Will be interesting to see who gets the job.
