  • Win the war at home and maybe we might win the wars abroad

Since the Democrats are on a "search and destroy" mission, mainly to get Pres. Bush, they can't concentrate on anything else. They took their electablity and have tried to make it "respectabilty", but bless their liberal hearts and minds they don't have a clue as how to win the war in Iraq or any other war! They only know appeasement and "cut and run". Oh, how our enemies must love them as they help they to move ahead in their objectives, mainly...ruling over the masses! With these guys its always going to be politics at its best...always, never mind the objectives of protecting the homeland and preimptive strike. They haven't a clue!

This might be off subject, but how is what we do with Democracy any different than what Nazi Germany or Communist Russia did with their society/governments? Who are we to say Democracy is the absolute best government and that capitalism is the best kind of economic system? It seems a bit overly arrogant to me.

Another thing is, we all know Bush wanted Iraq for the oil, its idiotic to even argue otherwise. But I don't care if thats why he wanted to go in, thats fine by me, but godd*** man he is our leader why did he have to make up WMD stories? Oh well its soon to be over. I just hope f-ing gas goes down

Also thats simply my opinion, I'm not saying you're wrong or dumb if you think otherwise so it would be appreciated if you would not give me the usual OMFGDIEDIEDIELIBERALFACIST!

And also, even if the Demies don't like the war, where the hell do they get off wanting to cut funding of our boys over there? Just because they want to run the show they think making a bunch of 20 year old guys run around without armor or ammo is a good thing? Have some respect for the guys that have the balls while you sit behind a desk at least. I mean i know i'm not there but i have more respect for them than i do anyone or thing. *Sigh* Sad Sad World

    END RANT.

Hello DinkFuzz, I'm not sure how to answer you as I've never ranted in my life unless I was absolutely sure I understood the declaration of statement. First let me start by saying Democracy works because the people wish it to do so, otherwise it perishes like so many other gov'ts that lost their way. Power to the people and let the government get the heck out of the way. I give credit to Pres. Bush, because he moved on the enemy after 9-11, while the whimpy Democrats were still trying to get a handle on what happened 6mths after and even up til today! A Nation that is not willing to defend itself from terrorist who want to destroy our way of life does no deserve to carry the torch of those who have fought, blad, died so that we might today be FREE!
If all this sounds like "run it up the flag pole", then so be it. Proud to be an American conservative Republican, at least most of us stand for something!**

Ya, the democrats have no clue how to win the war in Iraq, because right now it sure is going well. I think what the other poster was trying to say is essentially, who are we to go to another place and tell them that democracy is the only way they can live and that there way of doing things is wrong? How would the US react if we were suddenly told that we need to live under Islamic law because that is the right way to do things?

Well, we might start by considering the following:

              1) Which countries started the Industrial Revolution?
              2) Which countries lead the way in technological research and development?
              3) Which countries have the best medical care in the world?
              4) Which countries have the highest standards of living for their citizens?
              5) Which countries supply the most foreign aid?
              6) Which countries recognize the rights of individuals and women's rights?
              7) Which countries are masses of people entering illegally?
              8) Which countries are people desperately trying to escape?
              9) Which countries allow you to leave anytime you want?
              10) Which countries allow their citizens to burn their flag, call their leaders names, march down the streets protesting things they know nothing about,
and hand them government grants to pay for their college so that delusional professors can stuff their heads with manure?

You have just defined the mission of the terrorists and that message was communicated loud and clear on September 11, 2001............

You just contradicted yourself right there.

Okay this "American Left" and "Liberal" bashing has gotten so freaking lame and tiring... Many people who liberal believe that the GWOT is doing good things. What they are getting tired of is the war in Iraq that is a big flipping stalemate. The Iraqi government stated it was going to go on "vacation" for like 2 months... Do our troops get to come home for those 2 months? Why is our government not telling the Iraqi's to get their crap together and start securing their cities? Now before you "righties" get your undies in a knot realize that our government consists of three parties (Dem, Rep, Ind) and ALL THREE are to blame for this garbage.

You conservatives, neo-cons, "righties" always bring up the fact that your pro "get out of my face government" yet BushCo. bring forth items like the Patriot Act which brings the government into our lives oh so much more.

As for "Republicans standing for something..." Sorry my friend I greatly do not believe a vast majority of them stand for what you "think" they believe in.
Ever feel like you live in the state of confusion?

No argument here.. ....except perhaps the percentages of blame to divvy out on the three.....

But would blaming people really help. Although I agree that people should be held accountable, but now is not the time. We really need to sit down figure out a plan, and get the job done. Apparently the one we've been doing is not working. When our troops come home we can dose out said blame.

That's what really astonishes me. All this noble warrior energy, courage, desire to protect and serve is a beautiful thing you cops tend to share. But my gut tells me that all that courage is being, uh, pimped out under the current crime syndicate- OOOPS I mean government...

The animals in the third world have no ability to govern themselves by voting for their own leaders. We should have installed a permanent leader in Iraq.
