  • Obama challenged to foot race by a Marine

Obama was just challenged to a foot race by a Marine in Iraq while exiting the mess hall. Not known for backing down, Obama accepted and off they went. The Marine beat him but "news" anchors Brian Williams of NBC, Katie Couric of CBS and Charles Gibson of ABC reported breathlessly that Obama came in second place and the Marine finished just ahead of last place!

Of course they did. "News" anchors today are just personalities who's only responsibility is to their pocket books.

I think it's kinda cool that he accepted the challenge though.

Hmmm...was that an incorrect observation? Or, is the wording the problem? Sounds typical for all news broadcasters; Ron Paul showed a strong 2nd place in some primaries, but wasn't mentioned at all.

Fox said that they sent 47 hot blondes, almost depleting their sports staff, to interview Obama but he still refused to speak to them.

I'm sure the secret service didn't like it though
A Veteran is someone who at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America, for an amount up to, and including their life. That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact!

Is there any video of the race? They'll be the guys with shades, suits and one hand inside the coat and talking into their wrists

I have to admit it was pretty cool of him to do it. McCain probably would but at his age he might keel over after a few steps.
