Rule #1 - If it doesn't change supper it's not worth the worry.
Rule #10 - YOU ARE NOW THE MINORITY. This country is no longer the one your parents knew. You will not be able to understand it. You will not be able to change it. You must learn to live with it.

I honestly don't care whether he's a Muslim or not. I do care that he's a leftist, statist, gun-grabbing, tax and spend Liberal. He also won't get out of Hillary's way fast enough to avoid experience her "politics of personal destruction." And he darnsure won't be the next POTUS.

I don't know how you reconcile the immorality of posting these attempts at character assassination. At least research a person's background instead of parroting for the nearest robot.
-I don't feel you honor someone by creating a physical gesture (the salute). You honor them by holding them in memory and, in law enforcement, proceeding in vigilant, ethical police work. You honor this country or deceased soldiers or whatever you're honoring when you salute a flag by thinking, feeling, and continuing a life of freedom.

He's a media invention. It isn't any more simpler than that.

Yeah I agree, do some research <insert the nearest robot link here) LOL

Barrack obama WAS the promise of a new generation.

He WAS touting how liberals and conservatives should work together.
He WAS saying how he is just the person to bring democrats and republicans together.
He WAS looking like he might just be promissing and is not at all involved in all that partisan politics like all the others

I WAS scared that I might have to vote for someone other than a republican for once.

And then he cancelled a show he was supposed to be on when he found out it was being sponsored by fox news.

that is when I realized he is just another one of them lying politicians who just talk the talk so he can get the vote.

And that is not "parroting" That is me stating EXACTLY what I saw

Exactly what does he stand for? I have not heard him state his possition on any issues. The only thing I have heard him say is that he will bring the two political sides together. That is nice. But what about the issues.

          Taxes,
          Budget
          GUNS
          war on terrorism
          war in iraq
          abortion
          ILLEGAL immigration
          free trade
          energy

and so on and so forth

I wish he would state his position instead of all the talking he does about how party politics is over

Because I have seen him do nothing but dance.

I say Glenn Beck for president

Cant speak for any of his other policies..but Considering that he's from Il, and IIRC has a pretty abysmal voting record concerning firearms..on that topinc alone he's be an instant down-check for me.... in fact about the ONLY Dem that has any promise would be Richardson, and i doubt he'd get off the starting blocks. If it came down to Richardson Vs Any republican other than Thompson i'd be voting "d". If the Republican nomination is Giuliani..i'll be writing in "None of the Above Need Apply"

                Reasons why i like Obama:

                _Abortion: Favors abortion rights.

_Global warming: Co-sponsored bill that would set mandatory caps on greenhouse gas emissions. Plan would require emissions to return to 2004 levels by 2012 and to 1990 levels by 2020.

_Health care: Wants universal coverage by 2012

_Immigration: Voted to give illegal immigrants a route to citizenship after they pay fines and back taxes, learn English, satisfy a work requirement and pass a criminal background check. Voted for building a fence along Mexican border, and toughening requirements that citizens be given preference for jobs over guest workers.

_Iran: Proposed regional conference that includes Iran, Syria and other neighbors, aimed at stabilizing Iraq. In 2004 Senate campaign, held out possibility of military action against Iran if sanctions designed to stop its nuclear program did not work.

_Iraq: Supports capping troop levels at 130,000, beginning withdrawal May 1 and completing pullout of combat brigades by March 31, 2008.

_Stem cell research: Supports relaxing restrictions on federal financing of embryonic stem cell research.

(Also, i'm just not a big Hilary fan...for many reasons which i wont go into)

                  Damn Straight!!!
I received this same email soooo many times!! People know that am supporting him so they keep'em coming!!! The problem is that MANY people actually believe e-mails like this!! I had to send soo many replies pleading them not to resend this non-sense!! These people fell for it...

I was ignorant to the fact that SOO Many Americans don't care or know anything about some politics. I had a coworker try and prove to me that we had three Iraq Wars! 1. Iraq (Desert Storm) 2. Iraq (AFGHANISTAN!!!) 3. Iraq (Operation Freedom??)

UGGHHH!!! It's Obama for me!! Republicans are just out of the question!! AND I just don't like Hilary!!

Here's what frightens me about Obama.

Chicago is arguable THE most politically corrupt metropolitan area in the country (Outside of Wash DC of course).

That gang lord from the Black Gangster Disciples, Larry Hoover, has bragged about how they have planted candidates and won Council seats in Chicago. Not to mention they bring in hundres of millions of dollars in drug profits annually, you can buy a lot of elections with that kind of dough.

Obama is not only black (which would make him a logical choice for a puppet for the BGD), but a liberal (who argue for things criminals like- lighter sentences, greater welfare, weaker cops, lax drug laws, etc.)

I would not be surprised to learn the BGD were behind the rise of Obama, and gee, what a nice puppet to have under your thumb, the President of the US.

Anyhow, that's what scares me about Barak.

I don't normally voice my thoughts on politics as for the most part no one ever really gets anywhere in these type of posts. With that said I found the talks on Barak interesting as I have taken a few shots of the kool aide.

First, I am from IL and he has nothing to do with the politics that is Chicago (daily), so no worries about corruption. But nice how you just throw that out there. You also point out how he is a puppet? Now I am not normally a democrat and made the mistake of voting Bush the first time (and no I didn't vote for Kerry the second time) but how do you get any bigger of a puppet than him?

I think we will see more and more of his thoughts on Key issues as the debates and time run on. Don't count him out because he is doing what all the candidates are doing.

Also what is really more important than getting rid of partisan politics right now? If we do not get rid of that only more problems to follow. Both sides are so dirty in the way they run things that bringing them together would be a great thing.

--Health Care -- get a job, get health care. Seniors and handicapped get health care. people who just refuse to work and sponge as much as they can should not get health care

I agree but who decides what situations you can do abortion and what situations you can't? There are a lot of hard decisions with this and the government shouldn't make any of them.

Yeah jokes are all well and good and I dont think anyone actually likes the new clinton (at least I hope not). But even the dunce that is bush has admitted to a problem now.

Its nice that you think it is that easy. For example I had a friend in college that was putting himself through school while working two jobs. His money really couldn't go to insurance .. what should he do? He isn't a sponge but being blind to this issue isn't an answer. Also the reason your insurance bills are so high is partly due to the uninsured.

-- Immigration - I did it legally. I am now a citizen. Im not going to touch this one .. I just do not know enough.

-- Iran -- held out possibility of military action if sanctions don't work. Sanctions has not worked since 2006. What are they waiting for? We kept giving deadlines. None of them were met
                              ----------------------------------------------------------------
The sanctions aren't the problem it is the enforcement of the issue. And going to war isn't always the answer ... what Soldiers would you send there? Maybe there are other solutions?

--IRAQ -- What a wonderful president he will be. Tell the enemy what his plans are. what a Brilliant man. I am no tactician.....but geez Pull out and I will promise you that the war will be fought on our lands. And it will not be a war we fight with battle plans and soldiers. --------------------------------------------------------------
Telling the enemy of a plan is better than not having one. Lets face it we can't get much worse than what we are doing. What do we have to lose trying it a different way?

--stem cells-- they would get a lot more done if they get government out of it and kept it in the private sector. why does government have to get involved in everything? let the private sector finance it.

Nice ... Government funding is a huge source for any research. This isn't the only issue with stem cell research it is the other regulations not just on where the money comes from that he is talking about.

Those are my thoughts and they were quite different. That is what makes this country great.
