Dems with blood....er oil on their hands now

Filed 03/01/2011 at 8:45 am - Executive Order (E.O.) 13566. Libya can no longer sell oil to the U.S. directly.

    BLOCKING PROPERTY AND PROHIBITING
    CERTAIN TRANSACTIONS RELATED TO LIBYA

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the
laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency
Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.) (IEEPA), the National Emergencies
Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) (NEA), and section 301 of title 3, United States
    Code,

I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, find that
Colonel Muammar Qadhafi, his government, and close associates have taken extreme
measures against the people of Libya, including by using weapons of war,
mercenaries, and wanton violence against unarmed civilians. I further find
that there is a serious risk that Libyan state assets will be misappropriated by
Qadhafi, members of his government, members of his family, or his close
associates if those assets are not protected. The foregoing circumstances, the
prolonged attacks, and the increased numbers of Libyans seeking refuge in other
countries from the attacks, have caused a deterioration in the security of Libya
and pose a serious risk to its stability, thereby constituting an unusual and
extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the
United States, and I hereby declare a national emergency to deal with that
    threat.

    I hereby order:

Section 1. All property and interests in property that are in the
United States, that hereafter come within the United States, or that are or
hereafter come within the possession or control of any United States person,
including any overseas branch, of the following persons are blocked and may not
be transferred, paid, exported, withdrawn, or otherwise dealt in:

Mar 18, 2011 - No fly zone declared bombs start dropping.

Mar 29, 2011 - The United States on Monday gave a green light to sales of Libyan crude oil from rebel-held territory, giving a potential boost to forces battling Muammar Gaddafi.

A U.S. Treasury Department official said Libyan rebels would not be subject to U.S. sanctions if they avoid entities linked to Gaddafi's regime, which would allow them to sell oil under their control.

    Sometime soon
We trade the rebels bullets and guns for the oil, or cash. Then sell them bullets and guns for the cash either way.

Iran Contra? Irony? Never will I not jam this right down the throat of any democrat who says Iraq was about oil. Because you know what, it was on some level. But guess what, you did it just like we did pretty much and played some old classic hits from the playlist (iran-contra).
