  • On Styrofoam Fifth Columns And Other Atrocities

According to Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-Oregon), a supporter of the health care bill, Barak Obama told democrats during his Saturday pre-vote pep talk, “Does anybody think that the teabag, anti-government people are going to support them if they bring down health care? All it will do is confuse and dispirit, ...and it will encourage the extremists.”

Following this, Mr. Obama gave a brief statement to the press at the White House, then he & wife slipped off to Camp David for a weekend of R&R. Meanwhile President and First Lady Bush quietly, without fanfare, have been visiting and consoling families at Ft. Hood following the domestic terrorist attack on American soldiers. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan had brutally murdered 13 and wounded some 30 other innocent people while screaming, "Allah Akbar!" at Ft. Hood two days prior.

Obama's public reaction on the day of the horrific event at Ft. Hood was to offer a bland, stilted acknowledgment of the "tragedy" and grieving families of the victims. The incongruity of his statement, interpolated between unrelated felicity and a reference to his personal burden in this official role, was yet another Styrofoam pillar moment for Mr. Obama. In his subsequent statement to the press, Obama's primary message to America (and the despotic leaders of the world) was to caution people not to jump to conclusions regarding the "tragedy."

While the apologists and appeasers are out in full force, dutifully supporting the Styrofoam fifth columnists in our midst, some facts about the shooter Hasan have leaked to the public. British journalists and even NPR have exposed documented evidence of the threat this person posed to society. Actions, affiliations, and statements, both written and in oral presentation to academic colleagues at Walter Reed Hospital where he once served, bear witness to his vile, perverse and anti-American ideologies.

A distilled summary of the opinions of Maj. Hasan and Barak Obama concerning mainstream America is irrefutably stated, thus:

To Nidal Malik Hasan and his ilk, we of the Judeo-Christian conservative Western civilized world who refuse to submit to Islam are infidels who deserve to be "condemned to hell. Your head is cut off. You're set on fire. Burning oil is burned down your throat. " (Officials Begin Putting Shooting Pieces Together : NPR). Thus, this treasonous jihadist massacred and maimed as many of our precious patriots and protectors of American freedom as were made available to him on our own sovereign soil.

To Barak Obama and his ilk, we of the Judeo-Christian conservative Western civilized world who refuse to submit to collectivist/socialist political and economic ideologies are "anti-government extremists” deserving of vulgar, disparaging labels, to be placed on "watch lists", marginalized and suppressed as potential domestic threats to national security. Thus, this arrogant, irreverent and disrespectful tool exploits the power of his elected position to weaken and denigrate my country and defile the office of the Presidency of the United States.

The parallel paths and pathos of these two men must not, will not be overlooked by those with discerning wisdom and judgment. But for now, Nidal Malik Hasan is recuperating from his injuries, receiving the best medical care in the world at tax payor expense after killing American soldiers. And Barak Obama is in retreat at Camp David, at tax payor expense, delaying decisive action in our war against terrorism in Afghanistan, imperiling the lives of more American soldiers.

The last paragraph is the most offensive. Let me give you a quiz, over the last 20 years, which President spent the most time at camp david?

That pretty much sums the situation up very well! Thanks for posting it.

Every time I start to think I am a Conservative, people like you guys speak up and I realize that either I am a Libertarian, or you have wayyyyyy too much time on your hands to sit around critiquing those you hate.

Am I a Barak Obama fan? Nope. I don't care for him, and I didn't vote for him. But cut the guy some kind of break. Maybe he should just consult you guys first, so that when he is getting all his information every day, he can focus on those things that you believe should be his immediate priority, and he can speak about them in the order that you prefer.... Jeez!

On top of that, how can you compare the President of the United States to an insane mass murderer? Granted, I get it that you don't agree with his political positions. Neither do I. But a difference of political opinion does not a mass murderer make... Barak Obama may be the biggest liberal of all, but he is still my president (that's right, even though I did not vote for him, he is OUR president) and I for one am not going to spend my days finding fault with every little thing he does. I am going to save my criticisms for matters of relevance. It seems to me that you are looking at the world through a very narrow prism.

There are some who think you post this crap just to start problems, and that you are "trolls." I personally think you're just screwed up.

Actually, I'm the Libertarian. You are the Liberal and you don't know it. You are not true to Principle. You are also have the trolling bug because you don't debate and articulate your beliefs, you simply label and name call others.
But I think more accurately, imho, what these are symptoms of is "Holier Than Thou Syndrome. You state your opinion as if it is God's Law and not open to debate, which is rather odd since this is a forum designed for debate!

But since in this post you actually made a small point I will forgive your iniquities and ponder a little longer before responding properly as I am "out the door."

One thing is certain. Had Obama gone to Ft. Hood you know damn well the righty wingnuts would be harping about how he's only there for a photo-op.

As for the rest of it, it sounds like American Taliban rhetoric.

Geez, you can't find anything that the guy has his hooks in thats important to you? You procrastinating?
Someone claiming to be a 'maybe' libertarian should be more upset about what is going on than most. Matter of fact, it's funny that we don't hear much outrage from the true Libertarians anymore.
The liberal politician has the only job where they go to the office to work for everyone but those who pay their salary.
