  • 40+ shot at Ft Hood, for Allah.

Well, looks like once again some nut job converted to Islam (the peaceful religion btw) and rather than serve in Afghanistan to shoot Talibanis, he rather shot his own American soldiers. What's more, the tool was a qualified shrink! Yeah, right! I wonder how his "therapy" sessions were. I dunno, but especially after the Afghani Cop who shot 5 British soldiers in the back the other day, I'd be looking sideways at anyone who "converted to islam" in my unit.

I'm not sure if police are looking for 1 or 2 accomplices or not, at Ft Hood. It was unclear at the time I read this.

A crazy person with a gun who kills 12 people is just a crazy person who kills 12 people.

A crazy person who is a Muslim and who has a gun and who kills 12 people isn't crazy, hes just Muslim.

Is that hows its going to work in this country from now on?
This show is awesome, wrapped in supercool and smothered in bitchin. The only way it could be cooler is if he was riding a unicorn or something.

That is not this case though! He has been on record making remarks about killing Americans in the name of Islam and many other Jihadist remarks for quite some time now. Are you to have us believe that every Muslim Jihadist is simply a crazy person? This guy should have been discharged from the Army for treasonous statements a long time ago.

Does this look like his Facebook?

EDIT: Nope, it can't be him. The shooter's name is spelled only with one "S"!

Gee. I wonder if this guy is getting a lot of hits on his page!

U.S. Army Major.........That is the rank they reported this thing held. A half of a million dollars spent by the Army on him to make him a doctor.

My dad was a Major in WWII. As the son of a Major who served honorably, I say this thing, when he is able to stand up, is entitled to three things:

              1) A blindfold

              2) A cigarette

              3) A firing squad

He is either guilty of full blown Treason for embracing the enemy and taking up arms against U.S. forces( Based on statements he made which were reported by a past co-worker) or he is a spy. Either way, he deserves acute lead poisoning in front of a firing squad.

As far I I am concerned, if you can't support it, it's a lie.

And thank God you are not anybody's schoolteacher!

What exactly would you like me to show you Grasshopper?

PS: To the rest of you who know how to investigate: Apparently, the report that he was a convert was wrong. His cousin is saying now that this sob was actually born and bred into Islam. ,,,,,,,,,Oh......and that he is also a "good American".

Just came back from out there. I'll just release what the media is broadcasting (cuz that's all I know.) 12-dead, 31 shot. Only suspect was shot and is still alive. The female officer is still alive. She definitely saved a lot of lives today. SWAT Team, ATF, FBI, and Bomb Squad is at his house for obvious reasons... It's been an exhausting day.. Just had a drink to calm the nerves.. Please keep the victims and the HERO officer in your prayers..

I believe it is safe to say they have proof "beyond even an unreasonable doubt" that this thing was at least one if not the sole shooter.

An ex co-worker of this thing has stated that the thing told him that he supported the jihadists killing American forces in Afghanistan and Iraq. He also said the thing was happy about the shooting in the Arkansas recruiting office. Sounds like motive to me and I'm not even a detective.

So what, pray tell, do you still want to discuss? Would you like this stretched out like a slowly removed bandage in order to enrich an attorney or ten?

Troubling portrait emerges of Fort Hood suspect

                          By BRETT J. BLACKLEDGE
                          Associated Press Writer

There are many unknowns about Nidal Malik Hasan, the man authorities say is responsible for the worst mass killing on a U.S. military base. Most of all, his motive. But details of his life and mindset, emerging from official sources and personal acquaintances from officials and are troubling.

For six years before reporting for duty at Fort Hood, Texas, in July, the 39-year-old Army major worked at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center pursuing his career in psychiatry, as an intern, a resident and, last year, a fellow in disaster and preventive psychiatry. He received his medical degree from the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., in 2001.

While an intern at Walter Reed, Hasan had some "difficulties" that required counseling and extra supervision, said Dr. Thomas Grieger, who was the training director at the time.

Grieger said privacy laws prevented him from going into details but noted that the problems had to do with Hasan's interactions with patients. He recalled Hasan as a "mostly very quiet" person who never spoke ill of the military or his country.

"He swore an oath of loyalty to the military," Grieger said. "I didn't hear anything contrary to those oaths."

But, more recently, federal agents grew suspicious.

At least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.

They had not determined for certain whether Hasan is the author of the posting, and a formal investigation had not been opened before the shooting, said law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case.

One of the officials said late Thursday that federal search warrants were being drawn up to authorize the seizure of Hasan's computer.

Retired Army Col. Terry Lee, who said he worked with Hasan, told Fox News that Hasan had hoped President Barack Obama would pull troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Lee said Hasan got into frequent arguments with others in the military who supported the wars, and had tried hard to prevent his pending deployment.

Hasan attended prayers regularly when he lived outside Washington, often in his Army uniform, said Faizul Khan, a former imam at a mosque Hasan attended in Silver Spring, Md. He said Hasan was a lifelong Muslim.

"I got the impression that he was a committed soldier," Khan said. He spoke often with Hasan about Hasan's desire for a wife.

On a form filled out by those seeking spouses through a program at the mosque, Hasan listed his birthplace as Arlington, Va., but his nationality as Palestinian, Khan said.

"I don't know why he listed Palestinian," Khan said, "He was not born in Palestine."

Nothing stood out about Hasan as radical or extremist, Khan said.

"We hardly ever got to discussing politics," Khan said. "Mostly we were discussing religious matters, nothing too controversial, nothing like an extremist."

Hasan earned his rank of major in April 2008, according to a July 2008 Army Times article.

He served eight years as an enlisted soldier. He also served in the ROTC as an undergraduate at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg. He received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry there in 1997.

Of course in typical fashion when dealing with a possible Muslim or Islamic terrorist attack, the media will not talk about it - it will become old news and allow them to ignore it. You gotta downplay the savagery of those incidents as it may offend someone if you identify the suspect for what they are.

This incident also points to the asinine regulations present in the military. Here we had thousands of soldiers packed into a gun-free zone. Then we ask why something like this happened. Military bases are just like most of our schools and several of our cities. What perfect targets the people who have no choice about being armed present for a shooter. The populace is unarmed and vulnerable.

Gun-free zones work though- just ask the Brady bunch.

Exactly, you took the words right out of my mouth!
In some instances the military has issued regulations concerning the possession of guns even in the homes of soldiers living off base.

Soldiers ordered to fill out a list containing any firearm information. This includes make, model, caliber, and serial number of all firearms currently owned. In addition, requirement to list registration information, and storeage location of all weapons individually, and information regarding any CCW permits.
