Isn't it grand. The Prez is going to address the nation's school children on Tuesday. He says he is going to talk to them about being good students. Sounds like a wonderful idea doesn't it?
Of course, given the context of current events (the declining popularity of the Prez and the leftists current unpopular attempt at taking over health care), some extremist right wingers(like me) are wary and suspicious of the motives and possible(probable) unseen underlying agenda.
One particularly disturbing aspect is the assignments being handed out to students to write a paper explaining how they can help the Prez.
Considering the political orientation of most teachers in the public school system/union, I can only assume that a student submitted paper offering the Prez the advice of resigning the presidency for the good of the country and taking on a real work job where he actually has to perform some worthwhile work would not garner an "A" grade. Perhaps a paper stating that they will report their radical right wing parents to the White House will garner an "A+" grade.
The most disturbing aspect of all of this is not what will go over the TV. I am sure it will be well groomed for public consumption. No. what is most disturbing will be what is off camera. The classroom discussion of those "how to help the Prez" assignments led by the left wing extremist teachers so common in the public school system and promoted and nurtured by the teachers union.
Can you spell I-N-D-O-C-T-R-I-N-A-T-I-O-N.
Ironically, many students will be graduating high school not able to spell the above after being victims of it.
There is a possible paradox for the Prez. Since knives are illegal at schools, how can he give them an Obama youth knife?
