(Greece, NY) 08/19/05 -- The man from Greece accused of killing his wife and daughter was on the stand again Friday at a pre-trial hearing. At issue is whether some statements he allegedly made to police and a caseworker the night of the murders can be used in a trial.
David Zacher is accused of murdering his wife and 4-year-old daughter and injuring another daughter in April.
Earlier in the hearing, a Greece police officer testified that Zacher had told him during questioning, "I shouldn't have hurt my daughters."
On the stand, Zacher testified said that he couldn't remember all of his statements, but he is certain he said, "I wouldn't have hurt my daughters."
Zacher's attorney John Parrinello believes the judge will find the testimony to be credible. When asked if it's not contradicted by his other testimony that he couldn
