  • WTB: Sig P220 .45

I am looking to purchase a Sig P220, 45 cal. from an LEO. I prefer a full size basic weapon. Dents, scratches or holster wear don't bother me as long as it is in good working condition and has been well maintained. Our neighborhood is heating up and I want this for my wife to use when I am away from home. An extra mag or two and holster would also be helpful, but not absolutely necessary. Please contact me by email or my cell: 713-882-4273. James

    James,

I have a Sig220 with 4 mags forsale, all it has on it is about 1200 rounds fired never been dropped cleaned after each use. I am selling it for $650. Let me know what you think. Well I just noticed the you are in Texas and I am in California I do not know how that would work if you are interested. let me know.

I don't know if your looking just for this weapon for a certain reason. But if your just looking for something for defense, hi-point is offering really cheap prices on 9mm, .380, .40, and 45acp. Like under 200 cheap. Something to look into maybe.

Make sure you go thru an FFL dealer when doing the transaction.

Just fyi, FTF (face to face) sales are perfectly legal in the state of Texas (between state residents), so an FFL isn't a legal requirement between two Texas state residents. Obviously from an out of state resident it still is of course.

I have an older non-rail frame P220 I'm considering selling/trading (.45acp is getting too cost prohibitive for me to shoot a lot), though I haven't made up my mind yet. I can't quite bring myself to sell it yet.

One thing to look out for is CPO (certified previously owned) P220's. They almost always come in a red box. If you can find one, they are usually around the $450-600 price range depending on the age.
