  • Former Fat Guy

Back in December of 2006 I was severely obese, and decided to change everything in my life and focus on health and fitness. Over the last one and a half years I have lost more than 240 pounds and gone from barely being able to walk down the street, to being able to run for 10 miles non-stop. For the first time I was able to actually go after my dream of being a police officer because I was finally healthy enough to apply. Anyone else lose the fat and get in good shape? btw, I am now down to 232 pounds and pushing even lower.

    December 25, 2006 475 pounds

    March 9, 2008 approx. 245 pounds

I am 21 and back last year I was 286. My weight loss isn't as significant as yours however I have lost 66 lbs. I can say I am at 220 with a goal of 200. I have hit a plateau but Im about to bust outta that. Anyways, congrats man! How did you do it?
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13:6)

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

It was the longest and hardest thing I have ever done. I watched everything I ate, exercised as much as possible, and lifted weights the entire time.

That's an awesome routine, not overdoing it so you can workout every day.

Say, hate to be crude, but what did you have to do to get rid of all the excess skin from the weight loss?

Incredible job sir. You did great and you can use that to your advantage in any hiring process by advising the board that you know what it takes to see something through, that you are by no means a quitter, and that you strive for success both in your personal and professional life.

I wish you success in your endeavours.
