I have my poilice physical in 1 week. It is at 8am im planning on waking up at 6am so I am not so tired by 8. I was wondering how i should prepare and if I should eat anything before I go? Its 3 stations, 1st 38 situps in 1 minute 2nd 29 pushups in 1 minute and last is a 1.5 mile run under 12:30 seconds. I was planning on eating a small amount of egg whites and maybe some vitamin water. I was wondering what everyone else thinks. thanks

yea thats what i was thinking i guess it would also help if i practiced one morning waking up eating that then test myself as if it was the day of the test and see how it feels... well i got 1 week to find outComment

yea me neither i dont like running at all i get bored lol... i was just thinkin eat a small piece toast with small amount of eat whites... idk what to drink though.. i was thinking about my energy drink but then realized i will have to take a big **** probaly... im just worried about my pushups just seems like im never great in that area i can get to like 25 no problem but then by 27 im done i need to be able to do 29 in a minute for my physical... anyone have any ideas or anything to increase fast in a 1 week time frame?Comment

o ok what i used to do was do like 6 sets of 10 5 days a week and then test myself like on saturday and all it was working i went up pretty fast but i been stuck on between 24-26 last 3 weeks im trying to do 2 sets of 10 for each regular pushups, wide pushups, and then the triangle ones and i have only five more days my test is next sunday and i was leave saturday open for rest... also on what to eat before i was thinking friday and saturday night eat alot of pastaComment

What I like to do is plan way ahead in advance for stuff like this. What works for some people may not work for you.
To give you my two cents, it doesn't sound like a heavy-duty barf-a-thon-ish test. Carbo loading isn't really necessary. Don't drink alcohol the night before or the morning of the test or during the test. Eat something light and drink plenty of water the day before. Good luck for whatever it is worth.Comment

yea i think tomorrow will be my last heavy pushup day then rest the week ill just do situps and running even though im set on it... im just worried about my pushups... i guess it also helps when you dont have to count as you do them lol that probably distracts you a bit as you do them... hopefully on test day you get that feeling of this it this is when it counts and you end up being able to do more then what you did on your on so im hoping for that... thats for the help i just wanna pass trying to have the highest score isnt on my mibd right nowComment
