I just read about this myself and feel like it has a ton of benefits. I plan to buy/eat some this week-I will try to report back w/ some info/opinion asap.

When I lived in South America, I used to eat it all the time. Quinoa is easy to cook, tastes great, and more nutritious than any other grain. It makes a great homemade granola too. Of course, my taste buds may have been screwed up after a year and a half eating potato, guinea pig, llama, and who knows what else.

I've never seen quinoa for sale in the US but saw a special on TV about it a few weeks ago and guess it is catching on in some places.

There was a big article in May's Men's Health magazine about it. Couldn't find it in my local supermarkets but may order some on line to check it out
