  • Ankle Sprain

    I was working my security job the other day and I sprained my damn ankle, even though it's feeling a little better after the ice. What kinda stuff if any can I do to prevent an ankle sprain or shin splints from reaccuring while waiting through the process? I have to wear boots at work btw, it's part of the reason why I sprained my ankle to begin with.

    Try streching you shins, calfs, and ankels reg. I wear boot too but I love them, never rolled an ankel yet. To prevent shin splints, try doing weight training for the shin. Check out www.bodybuilding.com for work out tips. Try inserts in your shoes/boots to protect your arch from falling and give it a little extra support. If you keep on getting bad shin splints get a compression wrap for your shin/calf area, that has helped me out. I get bad shin splints but I have flat feet. Any questions feel free to pm me.
