    Thanks for all the help.
for question 2, it should say on the bottle if it is mono or not.

Also, just started using protein and creatine again this morning (it has been about seven years since I used it last), and I have crapped twice in the last two hours. I don't know yet if it is a coincidence, or if it is common when starting back up, or if it is the brand. I am using that six star brand and the last time I used a GNC brand.
i know of a lot of guys who take creatine and supplements such as super pump and NOXplode and make very frequent trips the facilities, so it seems to be somewhat normal

creatine monohydrate: you only need 5g (or less) per day with lots of water. take any more 5g and you're just going to pee it all away, your body won't process more than that. you don't need to "load", just take 5g a day starting from day one. btw, don't waste your money on flavored creatine, you're just paying for sugar and you'll go thru your supply faster. you want to take it with a sugared drink so you body will absorb it, preferably a fruit juice or POWDERED (non-citrus) gatorade. premade gatorade uses high fructose corn syrup, powdered uses dextrose which is not as bad as hfcs. time of day/post or pre workout is not important, jsut take it the same time everyday.

protien: you need around 1g per pound of body weight per day thru food and supplements. i've had good results from optimum nutrition chocolate flavored protein. its fairly cheap ($35 for a 5lb tub - 80 servings @ 24g per scoop. you can definately get it for less online). tastes good as far as protein shake go and mixes very well with water (GNC brand i had before this tasted horrible and wouldn't mix well unless you used a blender). Muscle milk is also pretty tasty but is more $$$ and more calories. ON and MM both mix and taste good using water. maybe you're having the extra trips to the toilet due to lactose intolerance?

You'd be wise to increase water intake regardless, but if it's working for you, stay on that path. Just make sure to check that there is nothing in the supps you take to DQ you on a drug test.
Yep i already know about the water part and i usually drink a ton anyways so i'm good there.

Don't think i would be DQ'd with this stuff, all i take is a multi once a day, super pump and protein powder so i should be good, thanks man.

Guest started a topic Wasting Creatine?

    Wasting Creatine?

just a quick question. i just started using a product called super pump 250 (similar to NO xplode and NOXCG3 by xience). I know this product is meant to be used before lifting but i am using it before running as i like the mental focus and endurance i get with it. Is this a good idea? is the creatine in this product being wasted?

I can take or leave this product really so any info would help, thanks guys and gals
