    The above is correct.

    1.5 mile run
push ups and sit sups, 1 min each
    100 yard swim

    That is all.

+1 on above statement. The new Physical Abilities Test consists of:

1.5 mile run (competitive is 12 minutes)
max push ups in 1 minute
max sit ups in 1 minute
    100 yard swim (no time)

The PAT course is no longer given as per Det. Lewis, Recruiter HCSO (as told to me on 7/26/2007)

FL Sheriff's Office Physical Assessment Test?

This was already posted in the hiring and recruitment area, lots of views, no reply's. So I'll give it a shot over here. Mods feel free to lock or delete the other post.

Hello every one. I'm a Park Ranger in Ohio. I recently applied to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. I have an interview, psyc, and physical assessment test scheduled. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is on the PAT so I can gear my training toward it for the last month. It sounds like a course to simulate a foot persuit, have to finish in 5 min and some seconds.

    Thanks for a any help.

    Nick
