  • Chest/Back Day with Deb D.

    Deborah is not a competitive figure/fitness type, but stays in great condition year round. I'm trying to convince her she should compete! Here's a chest/back day I did with her recently:

        I was glad to see her picking up some dumbbells that weren't pink 5 lbers and benching more than the empty bar.

              She was having trouble doing them smoothly, but it's a great movement if you have the core/upper body strength for them. It was at the end of the workout, so I think she was pooped.

                  I am very weak in that area and have been trying to work on it with my own body weight. For chest I do once a week 3 sets of 10 (if possible) for wide push-ups, military push-ups, decline and incline off of a bench and when I don't acheive all of that I go to 10lb DB superset of flyes and presses either flat or inclined depending.
