Nope. I use both also, or fish plus a more balanced oil product, such as Udos per vid, etc.

Can I ask why? Is there some sort of benefit to doing both? I do fish oils only. Mr. Brink this is by no means sarcasm but I know that in text conversation some tones get lost in translation. I have been of the mind and impression, which I could be wrong, that as beneficial as Flax oil is, Fish Oil as a whole is better in quality than Flax. Id like to know what you think.

I think the flax vs fish vid gives my basic thoughts on that. For a source of omega 3, yes, fish oils are superior as the needed and limiting conversion of LNA -> DHA/EPA has already taken place, so it allows much less fish oil to be used. Flax may have some additional benefits, and is simply a good source of fat calories, but as mentioned, using fish oils allows greater leway as to where you allow other fats onto your diet.

                    Thanks Will!

I choke down a couple fish oil tabs a day, and I like to sprinkle milled flax seed on some meals like eggs or sandwiches.

My fish oil from costco is 30% just as you said. I'm going to aim to start taking four a day. Any suggestions on when to take them? Do I take all four together, spread them thru the day?
Time of day shouldn't matter. I tend to spread mine out as I don't wanna take 6-8 caps at one time.

I take the Nordic Natural 1200mgs. I am currently injured right now with two herniated discs and going through rehab, I take 5 in the morning and 5 with lunch.

Mr. Brink, I'd like your opinion on these links:

The reason I ask is that I follow what these people teach and I feel, look and perform pretty good. You are a pretty knowledgeable guy and Id like to know your opinion on it.

The calculator depends on factors like "Training smart, sleeping well, eating no sugars, grains, dairy or legumes."

The anti grains, dairy and legumes stance is pseudo science at best, so it's hard to take the rest of it seriously.

Out of curiosity, why would you say its Psuedo-Science, there seems to be some pretty good empirical information regarding ancestral diets and their benefits.
