  • Training for upcoming obstacle course

I have a test coming up for a police department. The physical consist of a obstacle course: 400 yrd obstacle including fences, ditch jump, balance beam, dummy drag. The department and the state I work for now has a totally different test. I dont have any fences I can practice with. Wat are my best options as far as training?
    Thanks Guys and Be Careful!

If it were me, I would work on increasing my anaerobic capacity.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the info. In your opinion is an 400 yrd obstacle course easier than an 1 1/2 mile run in 14 mins or so?

Those are two different animals. The run is much more aerobic, whereas, the O-course is much more anerobic. One could be better at either. However, if you have good anaerobic capacity, you will also have a good 1.5 mile time.
