Best way to conceal a Beretta 92fs?

Hello, I am getting ready to graduate from the academy and as of right now I will only be authorized to carry my full size duty weapon off duty. Can any one recommend a good inside or outside the waistband holster that will semi conceal a Beretta 92fs. Thanks!

You might want to go with an inside the pant's holster like this from Kramer's.

Milt Sparks makes similar holsters of excellent quality too, but the waiting list is about six months. Kramer Leather is outstanding quality and they've got about a three week wait. Whatever brand, make sure the holster has a reinforced top so you can holster the weapon with one hand. An inside the pants style rig will conceal that long barrel/slide of the Beretta about as well as you can expect.

I forget the name of it, but I have a desantis open-top inside the waistband holster for my glock that is excellent. They have a website if you want to browse around as well. I don't carry my beretta very often, when I do it's in a jackass rig.

Good luck. I feel your pain. When I started out I had to carry my duty weapon (Beretta 96F). I did IWB and it was ok but I sure knew it was there. I think everyone else did also from the bulge.

You can conceal a full sized pistol, you just have to dress around it. A blazer or suit jacket over your shirt works well. Over a t-shirt its casual and within modern style guidelines, so it doesn't draw any undue attention like a photographer's jacket or the like does. For hot weather, depending on your build, Hawaiian shirts work well. They are made to be untucked and the bold patterns help break up any bulges.

I can't imagine a 92fs in a IWB is going to be comfortable.

When I carry the 92FS off duty I use the Serpa which works out very well. It comes with the paddle and belt attachement but I use the paddle holster which works out very good.

I would suggest the Bianchi 6D IWB. holster. it's low cost and does the job fairly well in my opinion. Your'e out in LB. try going to Turner's or online at to cops plus @ http://www.copsplus.com/bianchi.php Gall's/LB Uni's are too expensive !

Thanks for all the input. I will be sure to check these holsters out. Anyway, I'm eventually thinking about getting the HK P2000 sk in DAO. It will be a lot better to conceal.

I find the best way to conceal my 96 is in my locker at work. I carry my Glock 26 off duty.

unless trained with one, iwouldnt recommend it. there was a detective that used them back in the day when they were cool, miami vice style, but had trained with hip holster, got running after someone and out of instince went to his hip, then after realizing it wasnt there, struggled to get out of the shoulder rig. i stick to the theory carry how you are trained, fine motor skills go out the window when in a gunfight.
