Alien Gear has made a name for itself when it comes to concealable, comfortable, adaptable holsters. Its accessories have been designed for concealed or plainclothes carry, but the company recently entered the law enforcement market with the Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Holster. And retired Lt. Frank Borelli, OFFICER Magazine's editorial director, wanted to see how this new holster fared.

And what did OFFICER Magazine's test team think about Alien Gear's new offering?
Read the full review at OFFICER Magazine's main site. And if you've used Alien Gear's new holster in the field, tell us what you think about it here. Do you like the way it fits? How did it perform when you need to draw your weapon?
"When Officer Media Group representatives discussed field testing the new holster with Alien Gear representatives, they weren’t only open to the idea… they were eager. They didn’t ask what type of testing. They didn’t ask under what conditions. All they asked was, “What kind of gun, with a light or not, with an optic or not?” They had already tested the holster in-house so much that they hadn’t the least concern that it would fail any type of testing."
And what did OFFICER Magazine's test team think about Alien Gear's new offering?
"We found absolutely no shortage of strength or performance in the design and performance of the holster and we’re proud to give it our Officer Labs seal of approval."
