  • 10-gauge coach gun for a house gun?

I'm talking about a used goose gun, cut down to 18", with no chokes.

I suspect that it would be capable of reducing the rate of recidivism to zero...

Coach guns RULE! Nypd used them for years.

Years ago, I had a 12-gauge coach gun with 18" barrels, and it was super handy. It weighed nothing, pointed like my finger, very maneuverable through doorways, super-quick on target, broke down for backpacking, and when I hung it on the mantle over the fireplace, guests in my home just assumed that it was a decorative (nonfunctional) wall-hanger. I kind of miss it...

Back when I was on patrol one of my partners carried a Parkerized double barrelled 10 gauge under his front seat.
Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

It will work, but at house distances a 12g or even 20g is just as good and easier to practice with...

If a felon breaks into your house, he's probably going to be able to beat you to your own kitchen knife, which means that if your plan was to defend your home with a kitchen knife, you're probably going to get stabbed, empty-handed, in your own kitchen, with your own kitchen knife.

I think my way has a better chance of success...
