Night sights!

I just installed the TRU GLO night sights (TFO), on my XD, but my front sight does not seam to work at night, it is as if there is no tritium in it at all.
It seamed to work fine untill i put about 100 rounds through it. I have cleaned it off and wiped it down thinking that it have have just been dirty, but that did not help.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any and all sujestions would be welcome.

Are you sure you have Tritium night sights and not fiber optic sights? Fiber optics will appear bright during the day but are not self luminous as Tritium powered night sights are.

I have the Tru Glo TFO'S on 2 of my guns and they are probably the brightest night sights out of any of the others I own...something must be wrong with the front sight...what do you clean your guns with?.....


And to the second poster yes thats what the TFO stands for Tritium Fiber Optic...I think he might just have a deffective front sight or if he is is using Gun Scrubber to clean the gun...a buddy of mine ate away his TFO's because he let the gun just sit the the Gun Scrubber.....

I should have made myself more clear. I meant it is possible that they are the non-tritium version that only have the fiber optic elements.
