  • Leather concealment holster for G-27?

Looking for a leather concealment holster, to be worn on my belt, for my Glock 27.

I bought a IWB Holster, allowing the shirt to be tucked in, however it was readily apparent how non-tactical this was, not allowing for a quick draw. Also the Kydex plastic was unconfortable on my body.

I wear untucked Polo shirts or Hawaiin shirts 90% of the time.

The below links show some holsters that appeal to me....anyone have any recommendations please advise

    Check Out Highnoon Holsters

I purchased an H&K Full Size 40 and I really had problems finding a holsters for concealment. I finally checked out www.Highnoonholsters.com and found they had a wide selection of cow hide and horse hide to choose from. I choose the slide guard cow hide with liner added on. When I got the holster it looked better than the picture and Highnoon stands behind their holsters with unconditional guarantee for life.

I carry a G26 off duty (nearly identical to your G27). I've also got quite a large Rubbermaid tote in my closet full of holsters. It depends on your body style and what you find comfortable. I prefer IWB for concealed carry. My G26 will hide under a t-shirt with a good holster.

The tuckable style holsters are poor. I've yet to find one that's actually comfortable and easily used. I would only consider them to be used for very deep cover where it is unlikely to actually need a pistol. I have a different IWB's that I really like. They all seem to be variations on the same theme, though. I have a Blade-Tech and a Galco Summer Comfort (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp...=1183&GunID=51). The Galco is a GREAT holster, super comfortable and hides amazingly well.

I'm right between shirt sizes where if I wear the size that looks decent the gun prints (when worn OWB), if I step up a size the shirt looks like I'm dressing up in my dad's clothes. For that reason, I really prefer OWB. Nearly all of my OWB holsters are Kydex, so maybe I need to look at a better leather holster, but we'll see.

Go with Galco, you won't be dissappointed. If you really want the Cadillac of holsters check out Milt Sparks or Lou Alessi. You'll pay more, but they are truly beautiful pieces.
Nobody ever wants to have to fight, but its a darn good idea for someone to know how.

I carry a G30 95% of the time, OWB with a holster from Dillon Precision. Six years & going strong. Wear an XL shirt over a t shirt, no logos. Get my longsleeves on sale in the spring & my short sleeves in the fall on sale. Also a Bianchi dual mag pouch with 2 G21 mags as back up. With my G26, it's a Galco belt slide, the version that just covers the trigger and part of the frame, & a single mag pouch with a G17 or 19 mag with a +2. Paranoid, maybe, but I run into my "clients" on a daily basis. Don't forget a quality folding knife. During the winter under a heavy coat or sweater, a Fobus belt slide with a G21, and an extra single mag carrier to go with the Bianchi.
