  • M&P Shields for LEO's priced at $299

    http://quanticotactical.com/asp/item...2&CMSN=Shields

I saw this posted on another forum and am just passing it on. That's the cheapest I've ever seen the Shield. Its a great gun, especially at that price.
    I miss you, Dave.

I saw that and I was very tempted to buy one. But they do not have free shipping.

Unless shipping is more than $50 that is still literally the cheapest I have ever seen a Shield.

They have already been way ahead of the mythical g43. Primarily because the shield actually exists.

Shipping is a flat $10 for firearms. My local shops do transfers for $15. Where can you beat an out the door price of $325 for a new Shield?

They were $319 at Atlantic Tactical.
Being a good street cop is like coming to work in a wet suit and peeing in your pants. It's a nice warm feeling, but you're the only one who knows anything has happened.

If the 43 isn't at SHOT I'll be getting a shield. Not impressed with my full size m&p 9 at all so not really excited to jump on a shield at any price.

The Shield is a different animal. The trigger isn't the same as on the original full sizes, although I believe the newest ones have switched to the Shield trigger system. I was incredibly unimpressed with the M&P line up. I didn't like the feel of the grip, I didn't like the trigger, I didn't like the appearance. I approached the Shield with great skepticism when one of our range guys was praising it. Once I played with it a bit, I bought one for my wife and thought really long and hard (giggity) about getting one for my BUG. In short, don't judge the Shield based on the duty sized pistols.

Oh, and http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsupersto...cement-pistols for those who want to save $10 on shipping. $299 with free shipping. I'm going to talk myself into ordering one before this is done.

The M&P Shield is an excellent pistol, grats to any of you who pick it up; I plan to get the 9mm.

                          Excellent piece.

Haha, nice! You pretty much summed up the same reasons as to why I don't like the full size. At that price I may just have to give it a try. Thanks for the reply!
