A lot of guys at my station use 3 fastmags right on their duty belt for their spare pistol mags, and they hold very secure but are extremely quick to deploy. I have a fastmag carrier for my M4 on my outer vest and love the thing.

I use the Safariland triple open top mag pouch on my duty belt and love it. Been in a few fights, foot chases, fence jumping with it and havent had any issues. I recommend getting one. Can never have too much ammo.

THREAD DRIFT: I have a Bianchi Accumold open top double mag pouch that I wear horizontally. I wanted a little more of a snug fit and therefore put some of those self adhesive round felt pads for the bottom of your furniture legs inside the pouches and then put the mags in. I've rolled around with some turds (yes, literally) and they haven't come out. Might be worth a shot.

Sorry for the hi-jack, just don't want to see a fellow copper left in the breeze...
No need for apologies, appreciate the insight!

Original SOE (google it) makes a triple.....

Tactical Tailor, Eagle Inudstires, ATS tactical all make triple pistol mag pouches. Check out www.optactical.com for some good options from a great veteran owned/operated company.

I think this is a bit too "tacticool" not really practical.

I'm willing to try anything, but the taco pouches are $25 each (for a single one). So $75 for a "maybe"....who woulda' thought paying $75 for something called a taco. Anyone know of a cheaper price? I've searched everywhere....

I agree on the Safariland triple pouch, very hard to dial in the tension. As far as the taco pouch, I have them on my plate carrier and love them. They allow you to use a variety of mags and the tension is always perfect. I tuck the shock cord ends back behind so nothing is hanging down. The malice clips they come with are rock solid as well, I don't have any reservations using them.

I like the Safariland, haven't had a problem with tension. Mine are open top, not sure if they make me with a flap.

Duty belt, but for tactical application, not every day uniform wear.

I've been using the Safariland open top triple mag pouch on my duty belt for about a year or two. I'm not impressed. It is impossible to get the tension right on all three and it won't stay adjusted.

If going with a MOLLE platform I'd use the 5.11 double mag pouch and add a single on the side. My $.02.

If belt mount I recently found a quad mag holder made by Tuff Products that looks pretty good.

    Tactical Triple Mag Pouch Opinions

Hey gang, looking for a triple pistol (G-22) mag pouch for tactical wear (versus uniform). It can either be three single mag pouches, or a triple on one platform.

    What do you guys like?
