Safariland 6377 with Surefire X300 Ultra

Hey guys and gals, sorry if this belongs on the duty gear page but it is related to firearms. Does anyone know for certain that the Safariland 6377 holster made for a Glock 17 with Surefire X300 will fit the X300 Ultra if you pop the light cap off?? I am having the hardest time finding a holster I like that will accommodate the X300 Ultra...Thanks in advance.

It will, I had to pop the cap off to make it fit with my Sig P229 when the X300 Ultra first came out. I ordered a holster for a Glock with X300 Ultra about 5 months ago and it came with a different light cap that didn't need removed to work.

So either way it'll fit if you get an older one holster from stock or a newer one.

I removed my cap off all three of my Safariland rigs and it works with my X300U. All mine were bought originally for use with the Streamlight TLR-1.
It should be noted that if you run a DG Switch, you will need to take a Dremel to the inside of the holster and shave off some material where it would contact with the underside of the trigger guard. There is not enough clearance there for the DG Switch.

Do what ^^^^ he said! I just got the DG switch for my Glock 21, and it was a tight fit..I ended up shaving off some of the switch body off..so now I gotta use electrical tape, and reseal it.
